We design and build all of our own DMX products and our product after-sales support is second to none.
For an absolutely rock solid DMX output with no possibility of timing glitches, there is no substitute to creating the DMX timings and data stream in the interface rather than the PC. The Aurora-pro contains an advanced extremely fast microprocessor to take the load off the PC. With onboard memory the current scene is memorised continually and will continue to be transmitted even in the event of a PC hang, no more embarrassing blackouts.
Additionally on power up the Afterglow Aurora-pro will output the last transmitted scene without needing to start the software.

With a normal PC to DMX interface any fault in your DMX lighting, dimmer packs, cables or any other connected equipment can put damaging voltages into the DMX interface and back into the computer. This can damage the port that the DMX interface is connected to, or in the worst case destroy the computer completely.
With the Afterglow Aurora-pro USB DMX Interface, your expensive computer is protected against these dangerous voltages. Featuring 2500v isolation on both the data and power lines as well as spike and short circuit protection the Aurora-pro is a professional microprocessor PC DMX controller without a professional price tag. The Aurora-pro is a full 512 channel (1 universe) USB PC DMX interface. Supplied with a fully featured software package capable of controlling any type of DMX fixture with ease.
Small enough to carry in your pocket but powerful enough to control the largest disco or stage show, just plug the USB cable into your PC, install the drivers and software (supplied) and start creating. The only thing not included is the computer, lighting and your imagination!

The universal Afterglow driver that supports the full Afterglow interface range is freely available from www.freedmx.co.uk as is a VB6 example for a simple DMX desk with source code for anyone wanting to create their own software or integrate Afterglow support in their existing software.

The supplied DMXControl software package is one of the most powerful and easy to use pieces of DMX lighting control software available. Features include a graphical view, sound to light capabilities, Beat triggering, master and submaster faders, scene library, shape generator, effects library, MP3 player with effect triggers, 3d visuliser and much much more
Many other pieces of software are available for this interface covering every style of control from the fully automated to the simple DMX desk style. The Interface is supplied with all required drivers, documentation and software on CD
Lifetime support is freely available from us and the interface is RoHS compliant and CE certified. A 2-year warranty is now supplied as standard.
